These sponge backed sanding pads are excellent to use with your metal clay in green stage or on fired pieces. They are soft and flexible. Use them dry on the clay, or wet on the fired metal for a beautiful polish. You can cut them in small pieces or strips to make them more handy while working. Rinse after use and they'll last a long time. I usually cut them in thin strips which are easier to work with. On finished metal use them after brushing. Start with 240- 320 grit and work down through 320 - 600 grid, 800 - 1000 grit and finally 1200 - 1500 grit. Each pad is 140 x 115 x 6 mm.
